The medium of instruction at Özyeğin University is English, except for the Faculty of Law.

The duration of the Undergraduate program is 4 academic years, excluding the English preparatory class (if required).

Our Çekmeköy Campus dormitories, home to our 2,479 students, are elaborately designed to cater to every need of residents. The dormitories also accommodate a wide range of amenities and offerings for common use including free laundry room, group study rooms, lounges and guest reception rooms, movie theaters, TV rooms, recreation rooms, cafeterias,  mini-markets, food and drink businesses, an infirmary, and ATMs. Each of our dormitories also has a surveillance system; a 24/7 hot water, security, and ambulance service; and wireless internet.

High School diploma, transcript, passport copy, motivation letter, English Proficiency Exam Result (if available), and any additional document you may provide.

Applications start in January and it ends in September for every application period.

No. The admission scholarship is valid for 5 years and it does not increase or decrease, it stays the same through these years.

Yes, Özyeğin University (OzU) has one of the most generous scholarship programs among the Turkish universities and scholarships are available depending on the academic credentials of the applicants. All international students are going to be considered for scholarships (except for those who applied for the Professional Flight Program) via a thorough evaluation by the Scholarship Committee.

To know about your scholarship amount you need to apply us through the online link. Students will be notified about the result of the said evaluation when they receive the acceptance email.

If you have taken and succeeded in the English tests mentioned below, you do not need to study in our English Preparatory Program and you can start your program directly. If not , you are required to sit our own English Proficiency Exam (TRACE). If not , you will need to attend the English Preparatory Program.

Exemption Requirement for the English Preparatory Program and the Trace

exam- to have one of the following national or international English examinations results:

TOEFL-IBT: At least 80, with at least 20 in each section

TOEFL-PBT: At least 550, with at least 4 in Writing

FCE: At least B

CAE: At least C

CPE: At least C

KPDS / ÜDS: At least 86

PEARSON PTE Academic: At least 62, with at least 59 in each section.

Validity periods of examinations: TOEFL-IBT :2 years; FCE / CAE / CPE / KPDS / ÜDS : 3 years, PEARSON PTE: 3 years.

IELTS is not accepted.

I have been accepted, what is next?

International Students should contact the closest Turkish Embassy/Consulate to their home country for additional details regarding the ‘Education Visa’ and the required documents in addition the ‘Acceptance Letter’ provided by Özyeğin University. However, you do not have to apply for an education visa; you can also come with a tourist visa if more convenient.

Once the registration is completed, the international student is required to apply for the 'Residence Permit' within 30 days after arriving in Turkey. Details will be provided upon registration

NO. You can enter Turkey with a tourist or student visa if you are from a country that requires one.

YES. We will be e mailing you a signed and stamped  visa invitation letter.If needed we also get in touch with the Embassies via e mail.
